Construction Milestone Marks Progress at Luxury Rental Development

WESTFIELD, N.J. (March 26, 2024) – Parkside at Westfield hit a key construction milestone this month, with the first building under roof at the joint venture development of Premier Development and Garden Communities. The Union County multifamily community will feature 162 luxury rental apartments in three, three-story elevator buildings, complemented by a full suite of lifestyle amenities.  

Located at 524 Springfield Ave. in Westfield, on the site of a former garden center, Parkside at Westfield is on track for a late spring 2024 delivery.

Designed by BlackBird Group Architects, graciously sized one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments range from 985 square feet to oversize, 1,944-square-foot floor plans. All include two bathrooms, a balcony, efficient heating and cooling, ample closets, and luxury finishes and materials. Select floor plans feature a fireplace and many have a separate study/den.  

Parkside at Westfield’s clubhouse – with a fitness center, yoga studio, library and lounge – will support an active lifestyle. Outdoor amenities will include a BBQ area, firepit, outdoor seating and a playground. Future residents will also benefit from underground parking and the convenience of an on-site leasing and maintenance team. EV charging stations will support eco-friendly transportation.
