Company’s Latest Luxury Multifamily Offering to Feature 192 Rental Residences

111 Spring Street – June 2024

NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J. (June 10, 2024) – Short Hills, N.J.-based Garden Communities has broken ground for a 192-residence luxury multifamily property at 111 Spring Street in New Providence. The 27-acre suburban development will include a mix of townhomes and spacious apartments, as well as a comprehensive amenity package. A winter 2025 delivery is anticipated.

Surrounded by lush, mature trees and paved paths, 111 Spring Street sits just one-half mile from N.J. Transit’s Murray Hill station. New Providence’s top-rated middle and high schools, and Allen W. Roberts Elementary School are also all within approximately one-half mile of the property. Future residents will enjoy proximity to the borough’s vibrant downtown, Watchung Reservation, and plentiful parks and green space as well. The bustling towns of Berkeley Heights, Summit and Chatham are all nearby.

“We’re thrilled to officially kick off construction at 111 Spring Street,” said Garden Communities’ Tony DiGiovanni, the property’s developer. “With this project, we continue Garden Communities’ impressive track record of delivering elevated multifamily living experiences in prime suburban settings.”

The community’s upscale charm will bring fresh new local housing options in a market with high demand and limited new inventory, DiGiovanni added. Townhomes will offer private driveways and garages, while covered parking will be a feature for apartments. Shared amenities will provide conveniences and promote an active lifestyle.

111 Spring Street’s coveted address provides distinct appeal within one of the Garden State’s most sought-after municipalities. New Providence was ranked No. 12 on’s 2024 “Best Places to Live in New Jersey” – the highest ranking of any community in Union County.

As one of the region’s most active developers in its high-end niche, Short Hills, N.J.-based Garden Communities is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2024. The company’s robust multifamily project pipeline will introduce dozens of new communities in the tri-state area over the next several years. Garden Communities is recognized for its responsive, hands-on approach to property operations, and its focus on meeting the needs and desires of modern renters.
